Hello, if the other signals flash it is likely that a bad or loose connections exists in the left signal socket itself! try too wiggle the connection while watching it........does the dash flash?

SOURCE: turn signal not working
i had this same problem and i alleviated it by replacing the column switch which isnt an easy task and I used a manual (which can be obtained at the library for free or you can buy one at your loccal book or auto parts shop)

It's the same bulbs I believe, so look for the flasher module, the most likely suspect. It should be a round metal or plastic can, pretty accessible under the driver's side dash.
They use a different flasher module for the emergency lights because it's turning on and off more bulbs.
