You can do this at home without a lift because your spark plugs are on the top of your motor, but it is a pain. i have an 05. you need to go and get yourself a manual from autozone or advance auto for a 2004 and up charger. it has the 3.5l v6 in there as well and breaks it down on what you ahve to do to change them.

I have an 04 pacifica check engine light is on I am getting a code p0302 I replaced the spark plug and coil over plug and injector on that clclinder, what els could be wrong

Could be a different coil that is bad

The PO300 codes do not always tell you
which coil or if a coil is bad

Walk a new coil from cyl to cylinder

Never a need to change an injector & for
the most part spark plugs

Plugs don't fail to fire, they wear & stress the

I have an 04 pacifica that I changed the spark plugs now when I start the car up it accelerates like if someone has their foot on the accelerator

Chjeck to make sure you didn't disconnect any wires or upset the accelerator cable so that it is full on, Outer cable pulled out of retainer Check for fault code to ensure that you have not upset a sensor.

Free diagram for a 2004 chrysler pacifica need to know how to change spark plugs need to know how to fix a manifold leak

You are in luck you can fix both at the same time. Disconnect battery Pull off engine cover. Remove air cleaner housing and tube. Remove speed control and accelerator cables remove every bracket from the intake manifold. Remove the ten or so screws holding the intake on Remove dipstick tube bolt. Remove any wires and hoses. Lift it off and that is where the front 3 spark plugs are. Unbolt coils on top of each spark plug and 1/2 turn and pull off. Blow or vacuum everything from the spark plug tubes. Spray penetrating oil down by the plugs and let it soak. Turn the plug a 1/2 turn then turn it back down then out then in so the threads clean themselves remember they were in there for 100,000 miles. Make sure you replace them with platinum or iridium plugs

Changing spark plugs on 2004 matrix, is it something i can do at home or do i need more technical know how. if i can please explain the proceedure. thanks

Hi, the 2004 Toyota Matrix requires Iridium spark plugs, which retails for about $12 at the dealership, and it should not need to be changed until 120,000 miles.
To change the spark plug, remove the black cove off the top and they will be right there. You will probably need atleast an 8" extender to get to them becasue they don't have Spark Plug wires atleast on the 2zz-ge aka XRS Motor I do Not Know aboout The 1zz-fe AKA Matrix, XR, AWD

Your Pacifica 2004 has a 3.5L engine 6 cylinder, you will need six spark plug's, the spark plug gap is .050", make sure you gap the spark plug's before you install them, hope this was very helpful.

We want to Changs spark plugs, when we take intake off is there wires to that or does it lift off without problems.

We had the same random problem. Sometimes it would do it and sometimes it wouldn't. It's an easy fix. Have the throttle assembly cleaned. You can do it yourself. That's exactly what happened with our 2004 Pacifica. I took it to the Chrysler dealership and since we have an extended warranty (bumper to bumper) it was covered. It was an easy job though. It took them about 10 mins.
