Hi
i would suggest replacing the T.X valve, as that way you wont have to de commission the system again and repair the system and then regas, as this can prove costly. In relation to the guages normally the Low side (blue)on the guage will read between 8-10 o'clock approxiamately, and the high side will read between 11.30 and 13.00 approxiamately, now when if the TX valve is blocked your LOW side will back up and read much higher, in the area of 11.30 and 13.00 approx or even higher and your high side as high or potentially higher, basically the scales will read excessive levels on both sides.
As the Gas is poisonous (cancerous) you will need to have this properly degassed and recovered, with the correct equipment, then while the repair is being carried out ensure that all pipe openings are sealed, as the reciever drier will require replacement also if exposed to atmosphere for any longer than 5-10 minutes, as it will become internally damaged, in addition to this any exposed "O-rings" will have to be replaced and new seals pre-lubed with denso-8 air con oil to ensure a correct vacuum seal when the vacuum evacuation process is carried out.
Then once all sealed all atmosprhere will have to be sucked out so that you have a vacuum, this is where the guages come in handy, then if it holds solid vacuum on both guages for approxiamately 10 mins with the evacuator switched off all is ok, is not then you will need to investigate for any possible leaks, if all ok regas with the recommended gas amount and all should be good.

I have a 2000 mazda 626 and my air conditioning is not getting cold. The freon is full in the car.the car smokes at a red light when just sitting there while air is on. Wht could be the problem?

Is it possible that the clutch on the compressor is not engaging or the compressor itself is locked up. When you turn on the air, does the engine bog down noticeably? If so one of the two above are likely.

1993 mazda 626 auto, starts fine when cold, but not when I've driven it for a while.

I would start with a good tune up, including the intake gasket. Changes in temperature could cause gaskets to stop sealing properly letting unmeasured air inside the engine. Also check for fuel filter.

When i shut off car fan still stays running. i have 2000 mazda 626

Hello, this was common in some vehicles, the fan would cool down the motor and than cut out when the vehicle was switched off. It was actually a quite good idea because when you switch the motor off, the water pump stops working and there is no air flow to the radiator and engine, which makes the engine temperature higher, the fan just cools it down, just make sure it does cut out after a couple of minutes.
