Question about 1996 Mercury Villager
Driving on highway, 60mph, van lost power, pulled over, would not start, radio was on and lots of traffic (noisy) so i could not tell if there was any sounds or knocks.
is this worth the $780.00 repair im faced with and could there be any other damage?
Try to jump the car, if it starts, and pull off one of the cable connector from the battery. if the car stop. than you need to change the starter. if the car will not start with a jump, then you have a bigger problem. the cost of repair is up to you, if you don't have other means of trasportation then, it is worth, if yu have other idea, then it is your call.
