Question about 1999 Honda Civic
I have a 99 honda civic 5 speed and i need to replace the shifter knob. How do i remove it with out stripping the threads if it has any or breaking the handle off?
Most shifters have a set screw somewhere on the base of the handle that u can unscrew and just unscrew the knob. if not then u may be able to just unscrew the knob. if the boot goes all the way up to the knob and is removable, there should be a lip on the bottom edge of the knob that the boot just fits into and can be pulled off of
