I bought a used Luxman Stereo Receiver r113 and now my one Cerwin Vega speaker is crackling and distorted after 10 minutes of playing for the first time

As it's a stereo receiver and you specify one CV speaker, hook the speaker to the other side of the receiver and see if it still has the same problem. If so, hook it to any other audio source you may have. If it has a problem on only one side of the receiver, the receiver has a blown channel. If the speaker distorts on both sides of the receiver and on a separate audio source, the speaker is blown.

My radio speakers crackle & distort very badly--I've never played them loudly but can bearly stand to listen to radio?? Is there a fix w/o replacement?? Thanks

Blown speakers in a 2006 should not be an issue, especially in a quality vehicle. You may just have a loose connection at the stereo causing the crackling sound. If you are not the cars first owner the previous owner may have been enjoying the bass a little too much and caused damage to the speakers, but I would check the connections first.

My 2001 330ci has the Harmon Kardon sound system. However, when I run the system at high volume for about 5 minutes, the front speakers start cutting in and out. It doesn't seem like a speaker is blown,...

Thermal issue is shutting down amps till temps moderate. You must be driving your system too hard. And check out your tone control settings especially the bass. Every 3 db boost forces amp to double power at that frequency so if you are already blasting at 100 watts, a 3 db boost will compel amp to put out 200 watts, etc. Very easy to overdrive and overheat amp. You might want to try blowing air over output stages to improve cooling at high volume levels.

You are lucky that you have good protection circuits - otherwise by now you would have blown the output stages.

Turn on radio on half and get in the back seat and listen for distortion and if that dont work turn off the key unplug one speaker at a timeuntil you find it the wire are in the trunck connected to the speaker.Listen then not exceeding the power on the speaker and you wont need to turn it up that loud you will notice whats blown quickly.

Can all the speakers in your vehicle become blown and if so would there be any sound coming out at all. i have power to the radio but zero sound coming out of the speakers i have a 2001 town and country

If a speaker is blown, it will sound distorted. It may be that the connector to the speaker system may not be connecting. Diconnect it and clean it then reconnect it. I seriously doubt that all speakers will blow.

Daewoo speakers doesnt work

i wouldnt think they are blown if they start to sound "great" after you messed with the stereo.

but to be sure they are not blown, gently push on the cone down. if it moves very soft then that means the speaker is ok.
if it moves a bit too hard.. that means it might be bad
if it moves a bit hard and theres a "scratchy" feeling while pushing the cone down.. that means the coil is blown. this can happen due to too much bass/distorted signal for a long time.

but my guess will be a loose wire connection at the speaker. make sure they are tightly in, clean, and no dirt/oil on them.
