1998 Dodge Ram 2500 - hit sticks in the road

Last night we had a bad storm, and on the way home, I hit some debrie in the road (sticks). Immediately my brake warning light and ABS warning light came on and my speedometer stopped working. The van drives fine, brakes are working, am I getting all excited about nothing right now?

You must have ripped the wires off underneath your truck, and you probably don't have brake lights anymore either. Better get somebody to repair it as soon as you can.

I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 W/ 4WD, and a 5.2L engine. When I am driving down a rough road, it feels like my right front tire is bouncing like a basketball. Thinking it was a dead shock, I replaced it...

lower ball joints or king pins do this quite regularly. lift the tire and try moving it in and out on both the top and bottom. look for the slack at the joints.

You have to make somebody to check the struts, or shocks, and also the axles, this situation is very dangerous because if the problem are the terminals or the axles, they can be broke while driving and you will lost control of the steering wheel... completely. 1998 1500 cant feel the column shifter go between gears.

Sounds like a shift linkage issue. Some components thereof may be sticking from lack of lubrication, or worn out.
