it depend, if injector 2,4,6 its relitive easy to get , to. 1,3,5 or in thr rear which the intake manifold has to be remove to access, but verify that it.s not a ign coil or spark plug problem. if its the injector that's bad it may be dumping fuel in the exhaust which will deteritated the cat convertor

1995 Nissan Maxima, 103,000 miles. Only starts in the cold

Looks like you're not alone. Doing some research and it would appear to be a common problem. It's a process of elimination:
  • Change fuel filter; a bad fuel filter will produce the symptoms you're experiencing
  • if the fuel filter doesn't cure your problem (i think it will) you may have a clogged fuel injector; this is less likely than the fuel filter but still possible. There are some good fuel system cleaners out there that work pretty well
I hope this helps you out and best of luck to you!

unplug each injector one at a time and use a multimeter to check the resistance between the terminals on the injector. they should read 10-14 ohms

TRY cleaning your throttle plate. these get some carbon buildup and will restrict airflow at idle and can cause the computer to try and compensate for it
