2009 Land Rover Discovery and Blackberry Curve 8900

I have a 2009 Land Rover Discovery and just upgraded my blackberry curve to the new blackberry 8900 curve. Now the address book doesn't work on the Land Rover handsfree. The land rover website says this happens but it is annoying. Anyone have a fix? Will Land Rover provide a software upgrade?

You'll have to call the dealer have them pull the VIN to see if you have the latest and greatest software. Also you can check on the land rover website under owners put in the last 8 digits of your vin number and it will tell you if the BB8900 is fully compatible.

Suggested Solution 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series II Logo Problem with 2002 Discovery Series II Starts fine when cold, after running dies on idle then wont start 2002 land rover discovery, starts fine...

The ignition system is controlled by the ECM. Check power at fuse box in on right side under dash. Check fuses right side engine compartmentlower dash panel if all OK check power to ECM located right side "A" pillar in alloy box. this unit could be faulty if no spark at coils, assuming they have been connected correctly. may have to get tested for codes at L/R dealer or someone with test tool. Another source of problem may well be flat battery in transponder key. The indicator light on the dash willflash rapidly for 10 seconds if the vehicle has been unlocked with the remote and the drivers door is opened if the battery in remote is getting low

2009 Chevy Malibu Bluetooth pairing with my Blackberry Curve has stopped working after nearly a year. Once the pairing is set and working, it is no longer paired the next time the vehicle is re-started.

HI!!You need to take the vehicle to the dealer for an software upgrade that will take care of the pairing and discovery issues. Call the Chevy dealer, explain your problem and make an appointment.

Blackberry curve 8900 to Range Rover 2008

that is not really an issue...you just pair it with the number assign but if that is bothering you so much them you should take it back to your carrier and have them look at it more in-depth for you.

Paired Blackberry Curve 8310 w/Range Rover 2005 drops calls

Ok, this isn't so much a solution as a work around.

As long as your phone is still holding the call (showing connected), once the Range Rover drops the call, hit the soft button that shows a picture of a green phone receiver....as if you were making a call. This will cause the Range Rover to reconnect the speakrs/mike to the phone, and you can continue your call in relative harmony.

I still haven't figured out how to get out of the jam when a second call comes in while you are still on the first....

Good Luck
