Question about 1987 Porsche 944
How do you test the main (underhood) sunroof relay on a 1987 Porsche 944 non-turbo? I've tested the other relays, all micro and position switches, the main toggle switch and the motor and they all check OK. The last thing is the main relay, and it's expensive, so I want to make sure it is bad before I buy one. The problem is that it won't work in the up position. It will work if I jump the motor with a power probe.
If we can afford the car then go by the relay? pelican parts or e-bay ?

it all depends on how many miles the car has, if had you put synthetic oil in your car b4, where do you live is it cold weather or hot. well its a Porsche 944 so it probably has a lot of miles you should probably put a higher wt oil so i would use mobile 1 fully synthetic 10W30

Turn ignition on, make the sunroof go up and all the way down, turn off ignition and press the sunroof button to go down. Then unclip the 2 front hooks and push up.
