Oil pump doesnt work

  1. If your oil pump is not working you need to replace it,
there is an light indicator on your dash board, if the light stay on then you know for sure that's the problem, go to a reputable mechanic.

Won't start but cranks has 300k miles. Check fuel pump working, replace glow plugs, checked fuses and relays, fuel pump won't come on but works hooked it direct to battery, wait to start light does not...

If you can't pull the codes from the pcm it has either died or lost it's ground assuming it has power. I would try to get a wiring diagram and check both the power and the ground for the computer itself, because it is what turns on the pump and the wait to start light.

04 avalanche- suddenly windows, locks, radio and heated sets dont work, dash board shows airbag light, charge light check engine light, fuel gauge not working, oil change message indicator shows 0 zero oil...

Check for fuses and fusible links that may be tripped or blown.

Next, check for grounding issues someplace easy to reach like the heated seat connectors.

Most dummy lights work by choosing the warning light path over the circuit path when the circuit path is higher resistance. Which may explain your dash warning lights.

So, what I am trying to say is...you are looking for a open ground in a big big place....like under the hood at one of the major fuse/relay/fusible link points.

Check it out. Good luck and be careful.

Oil Indicator error light on

If you mean that the oil light was illuminated on the dash, it means the vehicle has no oil pressure, or it is dangerously low. You should check the oil level immediately, and if it is full, you should have a mechanic look at it. It cannot be run or driven if the oil light is on! Being a 2008 I would assume it is under warranty, atleast the 60 month 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. The old Tundra 4.7 engines had problems with the oil pressure sending units, but I havent seen any new trucks with that problem, and no service bulletins.

2000 toyota camry check engine light. trac light on. when i step on breaks reverse square indicator on dash board goes on. No reverse lights and rear light indicator on.

wires are pinched and shorting together near the left (drivers side) trunk hinge. brake light power is feeding back through the reverse light wiring. this will also turn on the check engine light with a neutral safety switch malfunction code as the computer also sees this voltage in the reverse light circuit. Find and repair the wiring, pull the EFI fuse in the panel under the hood to clear the code. Hope this helps

No dash lights 1995 Jeep GCL

Dash lights are fed through the headlight switch. If the headlights work, then you could have a bad switch. Before you go replacing the switch, get a wiring manual for the car and see if you are getting 12v at the wire that supplies the dash lights. I forgot the color of it.

Check Engine

Use OBE to read codes, find fault code and erase, you can buy OBE's at auto stores for around $120.00, brake light probably needs replaced, see a good mechanic to open dash...
