Question about Ford F
Erm why hasnt anyone said to go and get a Ford falcon repair manual
you know they actually save you money when u buy one?
all the information u require is in there
however i do suggest you DO NOT buy a Max Ellery produced version (its absolutly full of errors , they cut and pasted it from the previous models cause they said it was the same, but it isnt)

Most older cars have a mechanical fuel pump mounted to the side of the engine. Usually turns from the Cam or Crankshaft. i would check under the Valve Cover area. should be a small pump that is mechanically driven by the engine. probably half the size of your fist. Trace the fuel line from the carb to it. most oder cars have this set-up. I hope this helps you out. Never worked on a Ford Falcon. My 74 dodge B100 had that as well as my 78 Lemans. Good Luck!
