The cooling fans are switched off and on by a relay. either this relay bad and staying on all the time, or something else is bad and telling it to stay on all the time. you might unplug the engine coolant temp sensor and see if the fans switch off. if they do you have a bad temp sensor, if they don't you probably have a bad relay. they will test either for you at most car parts stores. the relay will be in the underhood power distribution box, it plugs in like a fuse. disconnect the battery negative terminal before you start unplugging things from the power distribution box. hope that helps

Cooling fan keeps running when car is switched off

Some do because the manufacturer, in my view, did not route the fan through the ignition switch wiring and it runs until the engine sensor cools down.

Where can I get a cooling fan wiring diagram?

The cooling fans should come with a sensor and tells fans to come on at certain temperature

Cooling fans atay on always

pull the connection of the fan switch sender unit in the head (2 wires in a square looking plug) probably next to the temperature gauge sender unit. If pulling the plug stops the fan then the problem will most likely be in that switch keeping the ECM thinking that the engine is running hot.

Car won't start after starting it with coolant temp sensor disconnected

Try a boost first before taking things apart, sound like low voltage.
Now about the fans.Sometimes it's easier (if the fans will work with voltage applied) just to install a relay and fire it off the switched power wire at the A/C compressor.Use this relay supply to voltage to the fans when the compressor runs.Want fans when not using A/C?Run a "in rad hose" temp switch and run that wire to the same relay to run fans when temp rises.Think after market hot rod stuff and keep it easy and simple,

2000 chrysler grand voyager fan wont turn off

its a stuck sensor or relay ,, fans will run with the car off until the desired heat and or cooling is completed . check the under hood fuse block for a relay for the fan, see if you have another one that's the same, and switch them out,, if it stops and works ok,, replace the bad relay

The AC condenser fan on my 1990 Plymouth Voyager does not switch on even though the compressor clutch engages and condenser fan runs fine when connected directly to 12 volt source. Would appreciate any...

You're going to need a wiring diagram to be able to follow the logic of the cooling fan circuit. Working on electrical without a diagram is like going to a strange town without a road map....won't take much to get lost.

The cooling ventilator of my Grand Voyager keeps working even we switch of electricity. What to do?

The most common cause for this is the cooling fan relay. It is located behind the front bumper cover on the drivers side. It will be either bolted or riveted to the unibody. These are really common and should be in stock at your local auto parts store.

My 2001 Voyager blower fan only runs on high.

This is 100% the Blower (Fan) Motor Resistor located near the Blower Motor.
This is a very common problem with Chyrsler, Dodge, Plymouth. The key symptom is the Fan only working on High.
This is very easy to access and replace.

Let me know if this helped....
