Sounds like a head gasket leak and water from the cooling system is getting sucked into your engine, if you are also noticing that your coolant level is low then this may be the problem for the white smoke

White smoke indicates a coolant leak. Your gaskets may be blown, which allows antifreeze to seep into your combustion chamber. You need to check your oil, which will turn white/watery when its mixed with antifreeze. Another problem is that you may have a cracked head. Usually this is a more expensive, but any good mechanic could check this out for you. Good luck.22
