Question about 1990 Pontiac 6000

I have a 1990 Pontiac 6000 LE. The Car ran great

I have a 1990 Pontiac 6000 LE. The Car ran great until I had to replace the sending unit on the tank, because it was leaking. So I thought such a simple task like that was easy, but when you go to start it, it stalls out, and eventually it will run fine. Then for the next few times itll even start and run fine. But eventually it does it again like its getting air, I replaced the fuel filter and I made sure lines are connected tight. I even took the tank off three times to make sure the fuel pump was correctly swapped from old sending unit. Is there something I possibly didnt do right, or somthing else to check, beacuse Im getting very frustrated with it!....Thanks

Sounds like you are loosing fuel pressure intermittently. Is there any damage to the fuel lines? Maybe the fuel pump is on its way out (loosing prime.) If you find this helpful, please rate, thank you.

Does my 1990 Pontiac 6000 le have air bags?

if your car has air bags there will be something on the horn pad indicating it like the letters SRS or something like that. also on the dash when you turn on the key there will be a light indicating an air bag as it tests the circuit.

You may want to look in to plug wires or a fuel filter, as these also can create this concern.

Replace the Distributer Cap, rotor and pickup, this is likely the problem rather than wires, and not hard to do.

Where is the starter on a 1988 Pontiac 6000 LE 4 cyl 2.5L ?

Should be between the engine and radiator underneath the car. You may be able to see it if you look down towards the oil pan, on the radiator side of the motor.

1990 Pontiac 6000 2.5 after driving, car stalls when put in gear.

You need to replace the TCC solenoid under the side cover pan of the transmission. You can also unplug the wires that go to the transmission in the front. After that it will not go into overdrive but it will stay running at stop lights untill you have it repaired.

Check as they have an area where they can tell you where the parts are located on your car.

Crank position sensor bad?
Are you sure the fuel pump is working? Might be the sending unit in the fuel pump that is bad. Clogged lines, clogged fuel injectors, clogged fuel filter, all things that could be checked.
