Question about 1998 Mitsubishi Montero
Same as the other guy , i was just driving along & this light on dashboard started flashing , it also felt if the car was losing power ,possibly over revving & seems like it was missing occasionalyy
Had the same problem with check engine light coming on, loss of power, missing always starting to accel and in speeds between 10-30 mph, little smoke coming out of exhaust. Took it to the shop come to find out the catylic converter had been rusted out due to wear and tear or age. Spent 200.00 dollars since I knew the guy to replace it and now the car runs great.

this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
