Question about 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe
Hello. find your receiver bottle, it is black or silver with 2 lines going into it (usually on side of engine toward rear, it will also have a switch into the side of the bottle with two wire, disconect the electrical connector from switch, then put a paper clip between both female connectors. turn on the vehicle and AC, if the compressor turns on and off each time you do this it is working. it is possable for the clutch to work and not the compressor, be sure to put the system under a vacuum before injecting R134....and most important use the correct amount of specified oil. good luck, marty
