Question about 1997 Chevrolet Blazer
After working on the car, had difficulty getting key out of ignition. Next time tried to start car, steering wheel and ignition key stuck in locked position. Will not move either direction. Tried making sure in park, wiggling steering wheel and key, brake peddle pressed... all that.. Locked up tight.
There is a "plunger" as part if the ignition. Under the steering wheel there is a small removable cap that you can take off and put a small screwdriver up into and press the plunger in and it will release the key. There is electrical conection between the shift lever and the ignition. Also check the negative terminal of your battery.
Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
