yes, Iv checked all the pulleys, they are all fine including the tentioner, Iv Isolated the noise, and it sounds like its coming from the water pump/crank pully area. Not sure where the Damper is though?

Did you check all the pulleys for smooth operation and looseness? did you check that the crank pulley and damper are OK?

How do i fix this problem ? clanking high pitch sound coming from intake.

have a compression test done as it may be a loose valve seat insert
balance shafts are just shafts and unless you have done a bearing for the shaft it will not make a clanking sound as there is no pressure applied to the shaft
basically a balance shaft is like a flywheel that takes vibrations out of the motor

My 97 bmw is hard to start and when it does it makes a loud clanking noise

To be honest I believe it could be your starter and/or battery's. If its makes a clanking noise from what I know it should be the starter.

93 Diamante making clanking sounds under the hood. From fairly quiet to fairly loud. Sounds like it's coming from the belt area, a/c ciompressor area of the car.

This could be caused by different things. It sounds like it may be your timing belt though. If you remove your drive belts (alternator, power steering and air conditioner belts), and then restart the vehicle, if the noise stops, then spin the pulleys you just removed the belts from, to see which one is making the noise. If the noise does not stop, then it is most likely the timing belt tensioner making all that noise and you will need to have the timing belt and associated parts, idler pulley/s, tensioner, water pump and seals replaced. Hope this helps. Have a nice day :O)

Because the bolt should not be sticking out of it.. Have it tightened before it comes off and causes damage to crankshaft or soeones windshield. Soon. Good Luck, Ned

Loud clicking/clanking noise on 200 Intrepid

Sounds like the motor is going out. 2.7s are bad about rod bearings going out. If you don't use the correct weight oil, and change it every 3K, they don't hold up too well.

Loud clanking noise in gear if the clutch is not engaged

Almost sounds like a throwout bearing problem. Either way, bring the car back and make them fix it. It will be covered under the warranty so dont let them try to convince you otherwise.
