If it was me i would call around and checkout a place that installs convertible top and take the latch by they shop and see how much they would charge to install it if they put a hole in you top they have to fix it try this website to see if they have your car listed if all fails stop by your local toyota dealership in the parts department and ask them to print you out a diagram.also try this website to see if they have any information for you www.alldatadiy.com

Your question is too vague about the "problem". Is it alignment, latching, locking, handle, etc.? Try looking at the following links:

hopefully you will find a solution there.

Trunk won't open

First, if it does need an actuator, you can save some money on labor getting it done at an idependent aftermarket shop rather than the dealer. Yes, the part will most likely have to come from the dealer, but let the shop deal with that. You do not have to pay dealership labor rates. It would pay to shop around.

Second, before any parts are purchaced, the actual CAUSE of the problem needs to be verified. Unfortunately, the ONLY way to do that is to get the trunk lid open and inspect the trunk lid latch components. If none of the three methods provided by the manufacturer for opening the trunk in a normal fashion will work, the trunk will have to be accessed by removing the back seat. Once the back seat is removed, a technician can reach into the trunk and remove the bolts that secure the trunk latch to get the trunk open. The latch parts can then be accessed to disassemble, inspect, and repair accordingly.

Please note that this is the ONLY way to do this without causing further damage to the vehicle. DO NOT allow anyone to attempt getting into the trunk any other way! (Do not use pry bars or screwdrivers on the trunk lid, key tumblers, etc..)

I boughty a 2007 Axio. The manual is in Japanese. How to I get an English Manual

Go to a toyota dealership and ask them, most of the time they can order one for you. If not you need to call Toyota up and beef with them so they can send you a new one. Most of the time it would be free if it was their mistake, or you may need to pay a small fee.

Trunk latch broke and I need to find instructions to fix it

find a replacement on ebay or call around to junkyards. pay a local repair shop to install it. there is usually a male part on the trunk and a female part, make sure you get both parts.

2007 Pontiac G6 Windshield Washer Problem

it's not a costly repair why not go to small local repair shop rather than the dealer to get this repaired. there are universal repair kits out there at many stores probaly walmart, part source, napa or something similar would have them. what have you got to loose if you try it yourself I think you have loacated the problem just investegate further.

Dear Sir I need a good repair manual for a Toyota Celica 1999 convertible.I've got a lot of things I want to fix, rear window, radio, trunk cable, shocks, etc. I'm going to get my money back on this crappy...

Go to faxonautoliterature. They carry manufacturer service manuals and other manuals as well. They list the actual Toyota service manual for your car and a wiring manual. I've used them before and be well satisfied with their service. Hope this helps.

I'd say most likely you're catalytic converter and or the EGR valve may need repaired or fixed. THe EGR recycles some exhaust in order to recombust fuel. The catalytic converter reduces toxicity of emissions. Car dealers can diagnose these thing for around $100-200.
