Do you have a towing package? If so, check to see if the trailer lite connector is causing a short.

The cause for a blown fuse is a short circut or over load remove the bulb turn light on with new fuse if the fuse blows then you have a short somewhere in th wire trace wire down till you find the short then repair with a **** connector replace fuse turn light on that should take care of your problem & if the fuse dosen't blow with the bulb out replace the bulb

2001 ford escape interior instrument cluster and rear fuse keeps blowing. Have changed it three times in a week. Works for a bit then blows again.

There is an electrical fault that causes the fuse to blow. Maybe a wire has chafed against the metal body and vibrations causes it to short out the fuse. This requires checking the wiring from the instrument cluster to the fuse box for worn insulation etc.

I have a 2002 explorer. The instrument cluster fuse keeps blowing, I took the truck into Ford and all they did was replace the fuse. The tech said the fuse would keep blowing. Now the the fuse blows as...

Can't believe FORD would just replace the fuse an send you on your way ! You must have not wanted work done they suggested . Cost too much for diagnostic's ! Because I work at a ford dealer , you have a short to ground somewhere in the insturment cluster or wiring .Why didn't you have them fix it ? An what is it you want to know ?

Front a/c blowing rear not on 2001 excursion?

make sure the rear air is turned on up front and check the fuse for the air. if not working at all if blowing but not cold you might want to check the a/c charge.

Keep blowing fuse for rear taillights and dashboard lights

Sounds like loose wires. Had a similar problem with my 03 Durango. Kept blowing fuses when I put them in. Came to find out my trailer wiring harness had fried and was shorting out.
