Why is the car jerking back and forward when applying the gas? It acts like it will stop moving.

I had the same thing. When you gave it gas it woould miss. Took it in and it was the dist. box with 4 out of 8 wires was bad. You have two of them one on each side of motor up front. I only had one that was bad.

The fuel is getting choked off by a dirty fuel filter.not letting the full pressure through the lines past the filter

I have a 1995 nissan maxima I did a tune up on the car I change the spark plugs and the gas filter , pc vavle, air filter and the car still fluttering. It act like It doesn't wanna go when I start the car...


try checking your carberator screw setting or have you though maybe you gas tank needs to be replaced sometime gook builds up on the bottom of your tank, and did you change all you fuel filters there is also one under the car in the back......also did you gap your spark plugs right...

1991 Caprice No reverse. Moves in neutral. All forward gears OK.


shift linkage needs adjusting,,could be bent, easy fix, located along firewall to fram beneath the column, ask your son wut he ran over and didnt tell u about... hope i could help...:)

Mazda protege 94, jerks sometimes, and vibrates when full stop


it sounds like it may be out of time and in the case you need to replace timing belt and pulleys and get retimed
