Question about 1993 Lincoln Continental
Check the brake light switch it operates the interlock
Posted on Jun 16, 2009
The brake light switch is located on the lower end of the steering column beside the brake pedal. OR it could be the BRAKE SHIFT INTERLOCK fuse located in the fuse box under the left side of the dash. You can still drive your car by turning the key on just enough to shift to neutral, then start the car and you can shift into reverse or drive. If you shift to PARK, then you have to start over.
