My car was very hard to start and now it doesn't start at all. The fuel pump was broke but has been repaired. And it's not the pass lock because the security light is not blinking , I bypassed the pass lock by adding a resistor and it worked but do you think maybe it needs to be reset"

Where did you try to by-pass at , with the 2000 ohm resistor ? Is the SECURITY light lit on the instrument cluster ? Probably has another problem other then the key . The anti-theft system in your vehicle can not be by-passed by using a resistor .

If starting is attempted without authorization from the Passlock™ System, the powertrain control module (PCM) will disable engine starting. Start disable may be in the form of fuel disable or starter disable, depending on engine application.

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop . Before you render it unfixable . (cost to much )

stop by passing things! you will ruin the electrics, call a repair centre, have them collect the bike & return when repaired.

When you place the wheel in a hard lock position ,the power steering pump relies on the pressure by-pass valve to operate instead of the valves in the steering box to open and allow the pressure to by-pass back to the reservoir.. When you hit hard lock and you hear the motor load up just ease on the turn and the pump will operate as designed. The turn will still be the same -just that the pump is not under full load . Breaking the shaft is a sign of excessive load and a misaligned pulley so check that the belt is directly in line and the pump is square to the belt line.

It's Hard to tell but I think you broke the engine. Remove water pump and pray that the other part comes off after the pump

One possibility is the temp sensor,if it does know it's a cold start ,it won't have an enriched fuel mixture to start.
Change it or put on a scanner and look at the temp sensor reading when cold.

did you install the fuel filter correctly for direction of flow.this can cause no fuel flow.there should be an arrow on the filter indicating the flow of fuel.also if this isn`t the problem then have the fuel pressure with a gauge and flow checked as if its not within specs the car won`t start.

sorry but i cannot be of much help here as i suspect that they damaged the transponder reader coil that sits on the igntiion lock ,if this is damaged then the immobilisor will not release so ask a local mechanic to check it out for you as this may be a bit to complicated but it may just need a new transponder coil and the vehicle shouldnt need re-programming if this is the case

The mechanic should check on the fuel filters , the spray nuzzle and the fuel lines . The fuel filters "the primary and the secondary filters".If these filters are dirty fuel are hard to enter because the dirt keeps on blocking the fuel to pass or go to the engine . The spray nuzzle if it is also dirty then the fuel also is hard to spray or to pass for engine compression. The fuel lines if the fuel lines are worn out or have leak then it should e replaced. These spare parts if they are been worn out or dirty they should be clean or some times be replaced . for good so that fuel will not spill too much on the car.For these problems can cause fuel leaks or engine problems it will result to engine lubrication.
