Question about 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier
Need to know engine and transmission type --- but unless you do it yourself it will cost more than the car value. look for a local guy working out of his garage or have a gearhead friend help you--------it really isn't that big of a job, but you will need tools, jackstands, etc and allow yourself 3 days at a comfortable pace so do a decent job and the necessary back and forth trips to the parts or tool store. approx 1200.00 usually covers it to have it done by shop with rebuilt or rebuilding yours.
