As Someone Has Stated The TRUNK Wiring Harness Is A BIG Probable Culprit Here<<<IF
You have Checked for Brake Light POWER @ the Switch Going IN & OUT and it is GOOD, The Harness for Body going to the Rear of Car This Includes Under the Back Seat as there IS Where the Harness Travels to Get to the Trunk.
As for Dimmer Light Im Not Sure as to What you are Refering to, HEADLIGHT DIMMER Or "DOME Light" Dimmer For Headlights this Will Be the Switch itself. And for DOME LIGHTS this is a Reostatic switch Incorperated with the HEADLIGHT Switch and the Fix for this is Simply REPLACE the HEADLIGHT SWITCH. I Truely Hope that I Have Helped you here or Added to the Help you have received from Others. Thank You and GOOD LUCK

If you feel up for the challange, you can trace the wiring and use a multi-meter to see if the voltage is reaching the sockets. Also do the same for the fuse box. You can also use a test light for this is you have one.

Also check all wiring in trunk. Make sure all connections are tight. Mabey have a short in dimmer switch. How is the cluster lights? You can also test the headlight switch to rule that out.

Have taillights but no brake lights or dash lights

Those are different unrelated circuits. The dash lights are from the Head/park light switch. Make sure the dimmer rheostat is not turned way down-you know, how you turn the knob for brighter or dimmer interior. If the bulbs are good on the backside of the cluster, it may be the switch.
The brake light switch is on the brake pedal. If no power to the switch, check the stop light fuse. I believe it may be same fuse as the hazard lights.

Brake lights not working but running lights & turn signals work already changed brake switch

check all fuses using a test light or volt meter if they are all good test for voltage at brake light connection if you have voltage in and out of switch test for voltage at rear light sockets with someone holding foot on brakes if voltage is present replace bulb or socket if no voltage is present a wire between switch and socket is broke . but that is very rare.a fuse is usually the problem dont just visually inspect them

Lowbeam headlights wont work, brake lights are out and check engine light is on...changed th dimmer switch, no luck

For the low beam problem, Swap relays 45 & 46 in the underhood fuse panel. Relay 46 is for the Low Beams. If that fixes the light, replace the relay that cam out of position 46.
Since the high mounted brake light is working, that indicates that the brake switch is good. You need to check the bulbs in the rear tail light assembly, if they are good, check fuse #34.

Speedometer gauge/climate control lights dont work

Look for a dimmer wire,, sounds like your radio dont have the option for the car dimmer switch,,

the power for these lights run through the dimmer wire for the radio. ether its not hooked up or the radio dont have the option for it.

there is a way to bypass the radio dimmer option,, BUT you have to know what your doing or you could fry something.

look for Car Radio Illumination/dimmer Wire: should be Green.
