Question about 1996 Ford Mustang
I have a 96 ford mustang 3.8ltr. that is at about 100,000miles or so. I would like to start doing some maintenance on it myself to reduce cost. Have found several how-to guides but none of them have a basic stock maintenance schedule, so I know what is most important and where to get started. need a 96 mustang maintenance schedule, please.
At 100,000 miles u need to replace the spark plugs and check/inspect the rest of the ignition components and repalce as needed, in most cases everything will be fine, change interval for air filter and fuel filter is every 30,000 miles, the transmission (auto only) should have a fluid and filter change at 60,000, also the brakes should be inspected 20,000-30,000 miles depending on how you drive and where u drive (city, hiway etc.).
