Question about 1997 Pontiac Sunfire
When my car is in drive, the rpm is high but it barely moves at first, it takes a while to get up to speed. Way slower than it should take. it has barely any power, i dont think it would be able to get over a speed bump if i slowed down. When the car is in reverse, it is normal and way more powerful than in drive. Is this maybe a trasmission problem? a sensor maybe?
If you have a Manual transmittion it sounds as if your clutch has just about had it. If your vehical is an automatic more then likely the trans is slipping
