The MAF sesortells the puter how much fuel is needed for proper air fuel ratio. It is located in the duct coming from the air filter. the first sensor. Good luck.

Hello; When you say it won't go when you accelerate, Are you saying there is no power or the transmission feels to be not in gear? It sounded as if you had no power when you tried to pick up speed. Misinterptreted on my part? If so my apologies. Now, is it the transmission issue or engine performance issue?

Need to know which sensors will take all power away from moter so it would only idle says reduced engine power

The TPS,or the TAC, or one of the APP (Throttle postion sensor ) if this faulter then yes you default to a set RPM, The (Throttle actuator motor) this maintain idle and if this faulter then yes you default to a set RPM or if one of the Accelerator postion pedal, When a power default occurs the whole throttle body usaually replaced either of these 3 component is the culprit

93 lesabre - starts right up but cuts off when you take your foot off the accelerator.

check your map sensor as well as the range on your tps/ throttle postion sensor and your throttle body gaskets sometimes that engine will get a air leak that corrupts the vacumn necessary to operate the fuel rail which in turn will shut the fuel off at a idle

Stalls at acceleration

Sounds like there is a good posibility that you have a faulty TPS sensor can you get access to a scan tool to see if there is any codes set and to see if you are getting a TPS(Throttle Postion Sensor) signal, also could be a faulty MAF sensor. MAF=Mass Air Flow
