Question about Hyundai Motor 2002 Elantra
Car doesnt start intermittently, then it starts no problem. it is not turning over but there is a barely audible whirring sound. I turn key to off and try to restart it immediately starts up. it is a manual, same problem whether in neutral or with clutch depressed.
The whirring sound is more than likely your fuel pump. Give it a few seconds to build up pressure before cranking or have the pump replaced.
