Go to and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.

Does a kia rio diesel 56 plate need the timing belt changing or has it got a chain

The engine which is made by Mercedes is not belt driven, it has a timing chain, timing chains never need to be replaced unless they fail or the engine is being rebuilt.

After how many miles should the timing belt be changed

The timing belt replacement interval for your 3.5L engine is every 120,000 miles. I would also replace the water pump, the tensioner and idler pullies, and the cam and crankshaft front seals at the same time. All of these components will also have 120,000 miles on them and they will not last another 120K. Failure of any of these components will result in the timing belt having to be replaced again and/or severe engine damage.

My car has 26000 on it and is a 2003 turbo s i need to change the timing belt?

low mileage but old ?' difficult decision but not insurmountable ,take the cover off the timing belt and have a look ,if cracking apparant at the base of the teeth then change it if no cracking then leave well alone unless you live in a desert type dry climate ,if so then change it regardless as the plasticiser in the belt dries out

What is the average cost to replace a radiator in a 1997 Hyundai lantra. Are these low maintainence second hand cars?

Depending on the mileage of the car! Lantra can be a 'high maitenence' car. has it overheated due to the radiator leaking? They blow the head gasket fairly easily! aslo front struts seize. If engine hasnt had regular servicing they sludge up and wear out engine components, engine becomes very tappety and may eventually fail. It all depends if it has been cared for. hopes this helps. What is the recommended frequency to replace timing belt in this car? Mine has 128,000 miles - is this long overdue?

not posotive about your particular model but in 18 years of doing this I never saw more than 120,000 replacement interval. so prob not long over but shouldnt chance it!
