Question about 1996 Volvo 850
I was able to take the panel off and unstick the belt that had twisted and tightened, but it was meticulous and time consuming pulling only about and inch at a time out; nevertheless I was able to get the bely from wrapped in recoil device, and ir recoiled fine, but it will not release back out. I took the passenger side panel off to compare and everything looke the same except the three clips(pins,???) on the recoil device was down on the working belt (passenger) while the opposite on the broken one....help!!!
I decided to take it to the dealer (expert) rather than pay money to an on-line chat. Thanks for the offer. It would be nice if you could have such a set up where on a one-time basis, provide solution free of charge or on the honor system of if it works pay $19.99 or so to become a member...just a thought.
