Question about 2000 Kia Sportage
I need the timing belt replaced on 2000 kia sportage 2.0 what should that run me for labor only
That depends on if you are replacing it before or after it stops working. The engine is an interference engine and if the timing belt goes out, it could damage the head and cost you around $1500. before it goes out you should be able to get it done for about $500 plus parts.
P.S. get the water pump replaced at the same time for a little extra as long as the front of the engine is being taken apart.

I just saw an estimate of 850 for a water pump, timing belt and front crank seals So figure the labor range on yours around 300 to $450.00. Good Luck
