Question about 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup
Hello my dad owns a 1981 VW Rabbit used to be disel he swaped the disel engine for a gas engine i belive he got the engine from a 1985 VW Golf, the car ran fine for years he just swaped the engine again this time from a 1987 VW Fox with 54000 miles and there is no spark at the coil, he replaced the control module with a used one and still no spark. is there a way to test the control module? He is sure its the control module, could it be something else? Thanks
Check and clean the points if it has them. under the rotor in the cap
