Call dealer with VIN number to see if your car is involved. ALso, please explain which bushing. Safety Recall 98S36 - Certain 1986 - 1995 Taurus and Sable and 1988 - 1994 Continental Vehicles - Sub-Frame Rear Plate Nut Replacement AFFECTED VEHICLES Certain 1986-1995 Taurus and Sable and 1988-1994 Continental vehicles that were originally sold or are currently registered in the following U.S. states and Canadian Provinces: U.S. States: Connecticut Delaware District of Columbia Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Maine Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Missouri Nebraska New Hampshire New Jersey New York Ohio Pennsylvania Rhode Island Vermont Virginia West Virginia Wisconsin Canadian Provinces: Manitoba New Brunswick Newfoundland Nova Scotia Ontario Prince Edward Island Quebec REASONS FOR RECALL The body mounts on the rear corners of the sub-frame that support the engine and transmission may separate. This can occur if the lower retainer plate of the mount or the retaining plate nut becomes severely corroded from long term exposure to road salts and retention of moisture in the mounts. This corrosion can weaken the retainer plate of the mount or the retaining plate nut severely enough to allow the bolt head to pull through the washer or out of the nut. Should both rear mounts separate, the rear of the sub-frame will drop and steering may suddenly become difficult. This could result in an accident. SERVICE ACTION To correct this condition, dealers will replace the attaching bolts, plate nuts and the reinforcement plates on the bottom of the sub-frame rear body mounts, on all affected vehicles. What is causing popping noise front passenger side of 2007 ford expadition

you replaced a lot of parts. were any of them bad. if you can add when you hear the pop noise. for example. when you only go over a bump. or when you turn the wheel to the right or left. if its when you go over a bump that is a suspension issue. turning would be in the steering.

Thumping/Banging noise at the front end.

check front-end out, immediately, could be a bad bushing/ control arm, this would need attention, asap, you could lose control of vehicle, or somethingelse is broken, shock, but the control arm / bushing is my bet. get it repaired, unsafe condition !!!

What is the popping noise in the front end when you turn the wheel

The lower control arm bushings are notorious for that type of noise. The sway bar bushings cause more of a squeak.

Reinstalled front sway bar with new OEM end links and new rubber bushings both sides . it now clunks ... knocks r and r 3 more times and can't get it right

Have you inspected to see if it is possibly something else making the noise? Check and make sure that your control arm bushings are in good condition as they will clunk if they are worn. Also check to see if the coil springs on your front strut assembly are ok, if broken these can also make a clunk or pop sound. Did you loosen off the stabilizer shaft clamp at all?

On my 2002 Sebring LXi 2.7L there are so many rattles and noises when I go over any size bumps. Had front top strut bushings replaced, but did not help.

Need to check the entire front end at a place like Sears or your dealership to determine what parts have excessive play in them. Sears doesn't usually charge for this service, in hopes that you would have them work on the car in the future.

Sometimes, the cv joints are worn and cause a rattle or clicking on turns. Also, the bushings for the lower control arms sometimes wear out causing a rattle or other noise that can be disconcerting.

When the strut bushings were replaced, were the other parts in the front end checked out?

Good luck on this repair.

Right front suspension loose / crashing noise

Would recommend having the front struts and strut mounts looked at, over time the struts and strut mounts wear out, causing the front supension to develop noise whe going over even the slightest of road deformities. Hope this helps

Nissan Suspension noise

sounds to me like your front control arm bushings are broken. have your mechanic check the bushings in rear of the control arm. the ones that are right by the 3 bolts in the control arm in rear. those bushings brake and cause play in the whole assembly, causing a rattle. Its a black round bushing about 2 inches in diamater. its most likely all separated. common problem. Have him look at your stabilizer bar links also.
