Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
It starts sometimes and then sometimes it won't...has new battery ..fuel pump...alternator... a service department has had it for over 2 weeks and called to and says it needs a new part (acomputer part) that is $600.00 plus labor over a $1000.00 to get it fix ..and that may not solve the problem...They said they called Chrysler to find a used part and they never got back with them...is there any kinda of recalls and if not is it worth fixing
Neutral saftey switch. $15.00. i had the same problem and this is what is was.

Wow a dealer can not think to do this simple test. How I would do it is to put a clamp on amp meter on the positive side of the battery with the ingetion off and start pulling fuse until the amp meter reads 0 the radio and alarm will pull power but this will be eliminated if the fuse is pulled.
