Turn signals wont work in 1997 ford aspire

My back blinkers will not work. The front works and it flashes quickly inside on the dash. I have replaced fuses in the car, and have replaced the bulbs. What else should I check?

Since you replaced bulbs, what did the rear socket look like? any corrosion? if not use a volt meter or test light and see if you have power in the socket if no power trace power connection back to front of vehicle through each plug connection, check ground connection at the socket with a meter if no ground is present repair ground connection, make sure contacts are clean, the rapid blinking is normal when one bulb is not working.

If rears work but front do not could be bad multifunction switch (turn signal switch).

My right front turn signal on my 2001 ford ranger doesnt work and my inside right turn signal light on dash doesnt work and flashes really fast. Buld on right side was replaced and works when lights

was the correct bulb used? this sounds like a single function bulb was used NOT the bulb that will light with the headlights and ALso produce turn singles

Look in your manual find the relay pull it and take it to a parts store and check it.

My left front blinker flashes quickly. - The left

Check for power at the socket. If there is no power I would suspect the flasher relay wich supplies power to each bulb individually after it gets the right or left signal from the switch.

I have a 1997 Ford F-250 heavyduty and the blinkers have stopped flashing. They still light-up but they don't flash.

Verify both front & rear bulbs are lit up, when turn signal switch is on. If so the turn signal flasher needs replacement.

The blinkers on are ford don't work we tried to but in fuses but all the fuses work

If the lights come on but just do not flash, replace the flasher relay. Your Thunderbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the Turn signals and one for the Hazard lights. The turn signal relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in lower corner of fuse block . The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. Turn signals don't work at all

Well if it isnt the fuse or the blinker relays then it is gonna be the multifunctional switch. This controls your headlights, blinkers, hazards, cruise control, and wipers. To find out if this is bad turn the if=gnition on and turn a blinker on then depress your hazard switch, if the start to flash then the switch is bad and needs replaced. About 150 at a parts store. And the blinker relays are located under the drivers side dash. One on either side of the steering column. Look for a little silver round relay that is about 2 inch in diameter...should day 552 on it. The hard to reach one is on the right side of the column and is towards the back tucked in a little.
