Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT
I have a 2000 3.4L V6 Automatic grand am. I want to exchange engine with a 2001 Oldsmobile Valero 3.4L V6 SFI OHV 112V. Will engine and trans bolts and electrical connections be the same?
The engine is the same and should bolt right up to the transmission, the only thing is pay attention to the accessory mounts such as the location of the A/C and Alternator and power steering pump ect:
GM is know to make little changes to the accessory location between there brands. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted. Be glad to help if you have more questions.
