There is really no dipstick for auto tranny on the bimmer. check out bimmer forums for detailed instructions on how to replace the oil. that is if you want to change. take note that you need special oil for your application. its made by esso and is very expensive

Cant find gear box oil filler intake

If it is Auto, add through dip stick pipe, if it is Manual, it is on the side of the gear box.

Can't find where to add transmission fluid in a 2006 all wheel drive equinox

I am unfamiliar with exact car, however, It is not unusual for transmission oil to be put in via the the transmission dip stick tube - do not confuse it with the engine oil dip stick tube. Do it slowly and make sure you dont over fill or you will eventutally blow your transmission box seals or worse. Let the oil settle before checking levels too because it is easy to misread the dip stick when you have used the dip stick tube to fill oil in.

Get a funnel and pour tha fluid in the dip stick tube while the motor is running . Make saure its the transmission and not the oil dip stick . Most trans dip sticks are at the back of the motor

How do i refill the transmission oil in my 1997 Micra auto (1 ltr). Can't find the cap.

Hi: To Refill your Auto Transmission with Tranny Fluid, There is NO CAP, Look For a Dip Stick Similar to your Oil Dip Stick. You Refill your Transmission where the Transmission Dip Stick comes out of a Tube. You'll Need a Funnel that Fits inside the Transmission Dip Stick Tube. This Should Resolve your Question. Please Vote and That actually sends me How Well I have Helped You. Were to fill the gear box oil

If its a AUTO MATIC then fill by the dip stick tube under the bonnet on left/hand/side.
But if its a Man then the filler plug is under the car on the side.

Auto gearbox

if it has a dip stick under the bonnet you need to have the engine running with the box in neutral then dip the oil
if the engine is warm then it should read around the top mark, if the engine us cold then it should rear around the lower mark
if there is no dip stick then there is no way of checking the level and you will need to drain the box and re fill with the correct ammount through the gearbox breather on the top
