Slow re-fueling issues

I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee with a 75L tank at about 55L it becomes painful to full as pump keeps cutting out. Am having to VERY slowly dribble the fuel in to reach full tank. Q: Does the tank have an s bend in the filler pipe causing blow back, Q: Is this a breather problem.

I think you have a bend line somewhere.from fuel neck to your tank.

95 jeep cherokee started then cut out after a couple of minutes driving

the most simplest things can drive a car owner mad check to see if you are getting gas pull gas cap off and have someone turn the key to on without starting some fuel pumps are loud enough you can most likely here it yourself listen for a brief humming sound that last only a few seconds that sound would be coming from your tank if you don't here it check your fuse for fuel system. if there good most likely you got a dead fuel pump and that is located in the tank

Where can I find a diagram of the fuel pump location to see about replacing it on a 1995 Jeep Cherokee? on line that is...

I would hope you know, that almost all fuel pumps have been in the fuel tank for the last 30 years.
Remove some of the fuel, drop the tank, the pump is on top.
You don't just put in a pump, assuming it is bad. Must perform one of several types of test, to determine if it has failed.

Hi, I have a 2006 3.0 diesel and the in tank fuel pump has become very noisey. It still runs normal.

sounds like the bearings in the pump motor are on their way out. If the drag gets too much the pump will slow and eventually stop, might be worth getting one now and keeping it in stock in case you get stuck somewhere with no spare.

Tp fuel pumps from same year different wireing

What you brought is an tank and unit from 1995 JGC. from 1993 till 1995 they have the same fuel pump. 96'er Jeeps start with OBD - Systems and they have other fuel pumps. You can't change the plug ins, because you may have other fuel filter in your Granny. Check filter and fuel lines if they fit with the unit you brought. If not, you need another unit from a real 96'er Jeep
