The SFI fuel injector is a solenoid-operated device controlled by the
PCM. the PCM energizes the solenoid, which opens a valve to allow fuel

Your vehicle is outfitted with this type of injection system.

I have changed engines on a 1998 ford expedition 5.4 liter engine the engine i got has yellow fuel injector i suspect the engine is a 1999 5.4 and the car is 1998 it is not running right peae tellme if...

What does "not running right mean"? at the most, put in the fuel injectors from the old engine. You may have gotten Flex Fuel injectors? I would tell you to have the dealer or a garage that does a lot of Ford work check it out.

I have a 2003 kia rio runs great hesatates slighty on take off what could it be

You didn't mention the mileage, but you should consult the owners manual & see if any tune-up maintenance may be due. Additionally, the air filter, fuel filter, fuel injectors, spark plugs as well as a few other items can cause hesitation on acceleration.

If there are no engine warning lights, you could also try a little fuel injector cleaner (available at your local auto parts store & most larger auto departments of places like Walmart) I always get the 3.00 a bottle gumout cleaner, use 1 bottle for a 1/2 tank, repeat in about a week & see if that doesn't help. good luck

Where is the gasoline valve located on a 1998 mazda protege

What is a gasoline valve? If you are looking for your fuel injectors, they are on the fuel rail that runs along the the intake manifold. If you're looking to put gas in, there is a latch on the floor between the driver's seat and the door which opens the gas door. Do you have your owner's manual?

No fuel at start up

You are supposed to hear the fuel pump when you turn the key.If you don't the fuel pump is not working. But before you install a fuel pump. Make sure the Shutoff Valve usually located at the truck of the car did not trip.It has a little red switch which is used to reset the is also called the (inertia switch) check your owners manual for exact location. Nope - pretty much every system I've seen requires removal of the rail and all injectors as a unit, and then individual disassembly of the injectors. Honestly, with an 11-model-year-old car, if you're going to remove that injector (which, by your other post, you don't have a choice), it's worth the time and relatively low cost to replace all of your O-rings for peace of mind. You can soak the rail and injectors with penetrating oil to help free them up, and then clean and dry the rail and ring seating surfaces before installing the new O rings and injectors. You're going to enough trouble as it is - might as well be thorough and handle any future fuel leakage now before it's an issue and requires another removal of the rail.
