I cannot get the belt

i cannot get the belt tenioner back on my 1995 chevy van 4.3 engine i removed the tensioner to replace altnator. i removed the center bolt but i think the nut on the back of this center bolt fell out and i could not locate it is this a special nut-reverse thred maybe anyway help.
