Is it serious if I do not replace the cv boot joints in my 1992 Honda Civic. Can I ask for a quote? If I leave them for too long is the problem likely to get worse. I was told the cv boots needed replacing at a warrant of fitness check. Many thanks. Mariells
I would not let them go for to long, it will only cost you more money in the long run. I have had several front wheel drive cars, one being a honda. I let them go for a few months when I new they needed replacing. All the dust and little rocks and debris got in there. I ended up having to replace both drive axels and also replacing the boots. So I would get this fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you Scott, I guess I will just have to bite the bullet. After six years of fairly event free motoring I had to get a new battery yesterday, and the repair person told me to get alternator checked. Think I need a new car!! Your advice is very helpful.
