First check visually for oil leaks. second try putting your weight on the fender. if it comes right back its weak. note: you can try on all 4 corners of the can so you can get a feel on what i'm talking about

Push down on the vehicle bumper. When you let go, the car should not bounce bacj past the starting point. If it does, One past center and stop at center

Hellow i have a question .imy girfriend has a honda civic 2006 and she crashed it and the place where she took it to fix it told her that she has to replace her seat belts and that they are 400 $ o

Seat belts keep you from flying out of the windshield and dying. Since they have already absorbed the shock of one accident, no one can guarantee that they will offer the same level of protection next time. And yeah, they're expensive.

My car is riding really hard over bumps; what do you think is wrong?

definetely shock absorbers! when they are getting old even they are not loosing oil, since they have been used on a pretty constant space(suspension travel) they start to be lazy on other suspension travel lenghts when riding on bumps and pits. they simply cant absorb as fast as the car rides on bumps. i suggest reasonably priced monroe sensatrac shock absorbers for daily driver.

plus, check your tire inflation and tire condition. (older tires get harder)

Shock Absorbers too noisy

Hi!!
If by noisy you mean a hard blunt noise while going over a bump or uneven road, it means the shocks are shoot and need to be replaced, there is no fix for that but replacement.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

Air condition don´t start, a honda civic

Air conditioning systems sometimes leak down and won't turn on when the refrigerant levels are too low.

Lift the hood and listen to the A/C compressor while someone inside the car turns it on.

Does the compressor engage for a second or two and then shut off?
If it does....you need to have your system checked for leaks and recharged.

If the compressor never comes on. Look at the A/C compressor relay. It should be under the hood in a little fuse box with other relays and fuses. When you find this relay you need to see if it works. You can buy a replacement relay and swap it or take it to a parts store and have it checked. Relays are 10-30 dollars and you should have three or four relays of the same type so a real cheap test is to swap a identical relay from an electric window or a defroster. You should see them sitting right next to the A/C relay if you have them.

Good luck and be careful!

I'd have a look at the shock absorbers (might be called dampers, depending on what part of the world you live in) for this sort of symptom.

Honda civic 2000 lxi radiator leaking

well if the hose you saying is leaking is the draft hose (the one that comes from plastic tank to the radiator) then you need to replace the radiator with a new one I have never found an sealing compund that will hold for more than a few miles the coolant is just to hot and the pressure to strong.

As far as you spring question there is no standard life expectancy, pretty much if the car drops heavy on that corner you should have it looked at.
Hope this helps
