Air conditioner hit and miss

My air conditioner works fine on days with dry humidity and temps not above the 80's, but only will blow warm air on humid warm days. What gives?

Sounds like you AC did. gve out that is. The A?C appears to need a boost of refrigerant.

I have a 2008 mercury mariner and the AC has stopped working. Fan only blows on 3 and 4. When it's 80° And zero humidity, cold air blows, however, when it's over 80 hot air blows.

Your best bet take it to ford an have diagnostic's preformed ! May have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code that would pin point the problem , Could be a duct temp sensor problem . You wouldn't want to take the dash apart to just replace this sensor . The Tech there can look at scan data of all the climate control system componets .

Dodge magnum gets a lot of fogging inside cabin how do I stop that?

close off the recirculation lever for the air conditioner
use the ac to remove the humidity from the cabin air ( that is what it is designed to do)
use the climate control set on cool to warm to keep the cabin temp at a comfortable level until the humidity is removed

Why does my heat blow warm air then it turns cold

its VERY likely that your heater core is getting stopped up.

The heater in your car works by circulating hot water from the engine into a copper or aluminum pipe coiled up in the dashboard. The heater/airconditioner's fan blows across it and the hot air comes out of the vents. This is why the heater doesn't work right away when you first start the car. It usually won't work until the hot/cold needle in the gauges is starting to rise up.

If your mechanic recently replaced the thermostat, its possible that there is air in the system which will result in less antifreeze in the car than it should be. If this is not the case, the heater core is probably stopping up and will require expensive replacement if it cannot be flushed clean.

Check to make sure the car is full of antifreeze IN THE RADIATOR, AND THE OVERFLOW JUG. Please be very sure there is NO AIR in the cooling system as well.

remove the headlights socket, remove the bulb and check for cut filament if it's cut, replace bulbs. But I'm pretty sure that the sockets just have humidity, take them out and blow air into the sockets to remove the water or humidity, dry the bulbs terminals, reconnect them. Check the headlights fuse.

Winndscreen does not clear unless have air conditioner on

Blowing air across the windscreen does not necessarily clear away condensate from the inside. Water vapor condenses on any cool surface, and humid air blowing across a cool windscreen will result in more condensate on the windscreen. Often the air that blows across the windscreen is just humid AND heated, and doesn't solve the problem.
The air conditioner system performs two functions. Not only does it cool the air, it also extracts moisture, resulting in dryer air. Once the dried air is re-heated in the defroster system, it should allow the moisture on the windscreen to evaporate.
In other words, it sounds as though the defroster system is functioning properly.

What are the pressures? And the low side line going into the firewall should be cold.We need to know what the pressures are,and is the evaporator sweating>and giving off condensation? If the vents are blowing out 80 degrees, then the temp door is not moving .It is either a door actuator motor,or a vacuum that is not working the temp door, check for a bad vacuum under the hood, going into the firewall.

Warm air

sounds like you have an under charged system. this could be due to a lose of refrigerant ( a leak ). Keep in mind this is the most common problem. I would have a local shop add some refrigerant to it, make sure they have the ability to do a leak and a pressure test. MrRodneyLong@Gmail.com
