You have a bad "heater core". It will leak inside, and outside once the enclosure fills. You need to replace it, or bypass it before your engine overheats and causes a lot more damage. If you're driving the vehicle daily, make sure you check and fill your coolant before you drive it.

I apologize, I didn't see the a/c part on the post. Your issue is condensation. It sounds like the drain hose has come out of place or is clogged.

How do you find the drain hose I have looked everywhere.

What is causing water to leak down onto the floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 when I have AC on?

this will be condensate from the fins of the ac evaporator in the car and is leaking onto the floor because the drain on the unit is blocked either in the hose or at the bottom of the ac box

What is causing water to leak down onto the passenger side floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 wagon when I have AC on?

Feel the water and smell it. If it smells sweet and fells oily, is is coolant. If is isn't oily and has no real smell, it is water. There is a tray under the evaporator and heater cores that catches water/coolant and drains it via a tube thru the firewall to the outside of the car. This tube is probably clogged and needs purged. If you have coolant on the floor, you'll need to replace the heater core. If it is water, purging the hose will solve the problem as the water is just condensation from the AC coils

1999 Lincon Town Car...water is on the rear passenger floor and under seat...and in rear door...HELP

Check under the hood along the firewall, below the windshield around ac evap. and drain area. This is a common place for water to enter and flow by various means (duct system) to passenger rear floorboard as well as slight passenger side front...but usually noticed in passenger rear floorboard.

Would the A/C cause water on rear passenger floorboard

Usually if the drain tube for the AC is plugged the front passenger floor gets wet, not the rear.

Water in floorboard ford f150

More than likely the AC systems condensation drain tube is clogged with leaves, pull the AC blower motor out and clean out the leaves in the bottom of the housing and flush it with water.

Passenger floorboard wet when running ac

no it will most likely be a blocked drain pipe that goes into the engine bay from the A/C and drains the condensation created by your car's air conditioner. A mechanic workshop can do a blast of compressed air by your mechanic and free the blockage takes about 30 seconds to do with a car hoist.
If it is humid conditions the problem will be much more and you might find the front demister won't work due to water sitting on top of the Air conditioner. It will heat this water and blow steam on your window.

My 1997 540I fills the floor with water whenever we run the AC its four inches deep on the rear passenger side

AC drain plugged. It looks like a rubber tube, and is typically found protruding from the firewall under the hood, close to the floorboard area. Run a small screwdriver through it to pull out any leaves and dirt.

Water on the passenger side floorboards from the

Likely the drain hose for the A/C evaporator. Should be low on the passenger side firewall (looks like a little right angle stub hose if it's a v8, probably can only see it from below.

The passenger side floorboard gets wet =

is it only when the ac is on? there is a pan under the ac unit that has a hole in it to allow the condensation to empty. if that hole gets plugged it could cause the condensation to build up and back into the inside of that car. i unplugged mine and floor stayed dry
