My truck is stuck in 4LO and it won't come out of 4LO.

i have a 1998 gmc jimmy 4wd, 4 dr. and it will not disengage out of 4wd it is stuck in 4LO my button inside the vehicle does not work so we are trying to remove the silinoid and little motor off the side of the transfer case. Any suggestions??? Please help! I have a 2000 chevy blazer 4x4, 4 door with electronic tranfercase. I ended up getting stuck and put it in 4-low trying to get out and now it wont come out of 4-low.
