It has three IGNITION COILS ,not distributors, LOL Pontiac grand Am's have a DIS system: Distributorless Ignition System.

thats 3 coils not distributors LOL pontiac grand am is DIS - distributorless ignition system

check and make sure you have the firing order correct, check and make sure you didn't disconnect any of the plugs on the coil pack.

2000 Pontiac Grand AM 3.4 liter V-6 VIN "E"

2000 Pontiac Grand AM 2.4 liter DOHC L4 VIN "T"

2001 pontiac grand am 2.4 cyl spark plug wires

no. remove the plastic cover fom the top of the engine.pulling upward on it after removeing the scews will pull the plug wire insulators up with it all as one piece.
