Question about 1993 Toyota Camry V6
Engine is over heating as soon as you start driving, its ok idling but start driving and up the temp goes and check engine light comes on. there seems to be a few bubbles in the radiator as well could it be a blown head gasket where do i find the thermostat i checked were i thought it would be in what looked like the thermostat housing "the one with the radiator cap on it"but nothing there i dont see how one would even go there must be somewere else, the engine runs really sweet not noisy or rough i hope someone can help me thanks david jacobi I have no thermostat! I need to put one in....... I think I found it. If I follow that black hose on the left of the engine it goes down to the front left of my car I feel that this is where it is am I right? and how do I get to that part? do I have to take out all those belts??
The thermostat is found by following the top large radiator hose and following it to where it connect to the engine. Pull your oil dipstick and see if the oil on the stick looks milky. If so, that is an indication of water/antifreeze which points to a blown headgasket.
