You will need to have it towed to the dealer.

I think the PCV needs a good clean out, trouble is I'm not sure where to locate it or what it looks like? 1997 Toyota Camry Vienta CSI V6.

Your PCV should be in one of the valve covers on top of the engine, with a pretty decent sized hose going from it to your intake manifold. They usually just pull out and push in, no tools needed. At most maybe a screwdriver for a little leverage.

If you suspect that it's failed, I wouldn't bother cleaning it. Just buy a new one, they're available everywhere and they're not very expensive.

1998 camry vienta grande. Central locking does

Your central processor is erratci and givng into wrong commands. Start from exiting one by one from the battery of the remote to the main hand rest., Check for poor connection in the wiring harness specially in the areas of the door hinges where the wires go into the customer control. Also try to find out if any moisture or oil has clogged on to the main Unit.
Hope you have patience.

1997 Camry Vienta 3.0 litre revs high at startup

To give you a simple answer, no. My advice is to take it to an A level technician for diagnostics. Sounds like you could have some sensors misreading.

I am trying to locate another remote for my 1993 Camry Ultima

Best place to look is on ebay. Find a reputabe seller, be sure to match the FCC ID number on the back of your current key to ensure compatability. You can probably get one through a local Toyota dealer but will cost much more.

My toyota vienta 3VZ-FE 1996 - oil leak onto exhaust

Hi,

That engine will leak oil from

- cam cover gaskets (rear one drips on the exhaust)
- camshaft end seals
- distributor shaft o-ring (appears on top of transaxle housing)
- oil filter bracket to block o-ring seal (drips on front bank exhaust)
- crankshaft nose oil seal (have done with timing belt change)
- rear main seal (expensive, leave it be)

How do i program a remote control for a 1998 toyota vienta

1-insert and remove key from ignition two times

2-close and open driver door two times

3-insert and remove key once from ign.

4-close and open drvr door twice

5-insert key into ign.,then close driver door

6-turn key to on (not start) then off, twice this is rewrite mode, have all remotes to reprogram it will clear any lost remotes.

7-remove key from ignition, the door locks should cycle twice.if not start over.it may take a few tries.

8-press lock/unlock together and hold for a second

9-release,and press lock on remote, the door locks will cycle confirming program.continue to do other remotes you have, steps 8 and 9.if only one in possession, you are done. To end mode open door or insert key into ignition.

You'll need to follow the steps with no more than a 1-2 second delay between each step.. hope it works

Keyless / remote control - Toyota vienta vxi

No, not true. We replace remotes regularly, and have never had a need for a "working" remote. The keyless entry system does not "disable" itself. Hope this helps.
